NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING CITY OF TEKAMAH, NEBRASKA PLANNING COMMISSION The Planning Commission of the City of Tekamah will hold a public hearing and meeting at 7:00 p.m. on September 14, 2026, at the City Auditorium, 1315 K Street, Tekamah, NE 68061 to consider the following amendments to the City’s zoning regulations pertaining to wireless communication towers: - Permitting wireless communication towers within the agricultural (AG) zoning district as either a permitted use or a conditional use; - Amending existing zoning regulation 7.10.03 to include government and quasi-government entities among the exemptions from zoning regulation 7.10 (wireless communication towers); and - Amending existing zoning regulation 7.10.07 to provide different setback requirements for wireless communication towers owned by government, quasi-government, and first-responder entities. At said time and place all interested persons and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard, and the Planning Commission will recommend to the Tekamah City Council whether the above-referenced amendments should be made.
