NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASES Public notice is hereby given in compliance with §77-1633: Representative(s) of the following political subdivisions will meet September 18, 2025 at 6:01 p.m., at Burt County Courthouse, 3rd Floor Courtroom, Tekamah, NE for the purpose of conducting a joint public hearing to obtain public input on property tax increases proposed by the subdivisions: Burt County, NE - (402) 374-2955 x1 – property tax request: $6,066,713 Tekamah-Herman Schools, (402) 374-2157, property tax request: $9,198,061 The political subdivisions listed above shall make presentations at hearing; there is no item on the agenda for this joint public meeting other than presentations and public input on ‘property tax request increases by a percentage greater than the allowable growth percentage’ as required by §77-1633.
