The regular monthly meeting of the Oakland Heights Board of Directors convened in open and public session on September 17, 2025, in the Oakland Heights Conference Room. Notice of the meeting was made in advance thereof by posting in three places, one of the designated methods of giving notice. Minutes of the August 20, 2025, meeting were approved as distributed. The meeting was called to order by President Judy Schernikau at 8:25 AM. A quorum was established with the presence of Randy Johnson, Kathy Rennerfeldt, Elisabeth Linder, and Dan Tanksley, Jr. Also present were Administrator Joshua Yeutter and guests Isaac Deichmann and Brenda Andersen of Foundation Wealth Advisors. New business began with a presentation of various documents detailing different potential investment strategies to consider and their outcomes. This allowed the board to become more aware of better ways to efficiently build the financial stability for the future needs of the facility. Mr. Yeutter continued the agenda, updating the board on the many applications for employment as well as openings in the facility. The DHHS Background check process still remains the biggest bottleneck to the process. Plans are being finalized for improving the floors in the Assisted Living Dining Room. Two bids were accepted, all ayes, no nays, one for the kitchen flooring and one for the dining room. Employee Retention Projects are funded and awaiting the contractor's arrival to complete. Administrator Yeutter continues with exploratory talks with various pharmacy providers at this time. A discussion was also held on a resident room request, which the board denied the request. There were no COVID-positive residents or staff during August/September. Census is at 36 at Oakland Heights and 18 currently in the Assisted Living. We are hiring full-time or part-time RN/LPN, full-time or part-time CNAs and CMAs for evenings and night shift, and Full-time/Part-time CMAs for the Assisted Living on all shifts. Incident summaries were reviewed, financials were distributed, and warrants were submitted for payment. A motion was offered by Dan Tanksley Jr., with a second from Kathy Rennerfeldt, to pay the warrants as submitted. On roll call, all ayes, no nays, motion carried. There being no further business to transact, the meeting was adjourned. Respectfully submitted, Daniel R. Tanksley, Jr. Secretary to the Board of Directors OAKLAND HEIGHTS WARRANTS AUGUST 2025 ACCESS SYSTEMS; 880.96 AMAZON; 5,373.53 AMERITAS LIFE INSURANCE CORP; 1,619.56 ANDYS QUIK STOP; 673.35 ANFP ONLINE; 165.00 ARTHUR J GALLAGHER RISK MGT SERVICES LLC; 5,000.00 ARVID MONSON; 333.00 BCBS OF NEBRASKA; 28,048.69 BEYOND COMMUNICATIONS LLC; 173.00 BLACK HILLS ENERGY; 185.67 BRAYDEN SKINNER; 55.00 BRIDGET SHOCKLEY; 73.77 CARMEN DRUCKENMILLER; 6.69 CENTURYLINK; 98.99 CHLOE JOHNSON; 40.00 CINDY GRAEF; 62.50 CITY OF OAKLAND; 166.59 CMS MEDICARE; 730.00 CONSONUS PHARMACY; 3,263.45 CONSTELLATION NEWENERGY; 621.66 CREDIT BUREAU SERVICES INC; 739.80 CULLIGAN OF OMAHA; 419.75 DE LAGE LANDEN PUBLIC FINANCE LLC; 735.51 DENISE JOHNSON; 5.98 DHHS LICENSURE UNIT, NURSING & SUPPORT; 123.00 DIRECT SUPPLY; 570.89 EAKES OFFICE SOLUTIONS; 522.97 EDEN EVENTS, GIFTS, FLORALS; 40.00 ELECTRONIC CONTRACTING COMPANY; 1,132.50 EMPOWER WELLS FARGO; 4,416.19 ENOLA GREVE; 200.00 ESSENTIAL SCREENS; 111.98 FASTWYRE BROADBAND; 1,700.89 FIRST NORTHEAST BANK OF NEBRASKA; 35.00 GENERAL COLLECTION COMPANY INC; 658.04 GLENN CULL; 849.00 GRAINGER; 221.17 HEALTH CARE INFORMATION SYSTEMS; 2,471.59 HEALTHCAP RRG; 2,095.79 HILAND DAIRY; 1,430.60 HSA AUTO DEDUCTION; 4,200.00 IONOS INC; 88.18 JODON'S; 90.60 JOHNSON & MOCK, PC, LLO; 779.00 JOSHUA YEUTTER; 26.28 KCI USA; 1,132.40 LINCOLN NATIONAL LIFE INSURANCE; 21.71 MARTIN BROTHERS DISTRIBUTING CO INC; 18,623.89 MCKESSON MEDICAL-SURGICAL MN SUPPLY INC; 5,268.91 MENARDS; 263.00 MIDLAND FUNDING LLC; 19.01 NEBRASKA CHILD SUPPORT AUTO PAYMENT; 46.16 NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE; 8,221.58 NEBRASKA NURSING FACILITY ASSN; 1,697.00 NEBRASKA PUBLIC POWER; 5,112.83 NEBRASKA STATE FIRE MARSHALL AGENCY; 50.00 NELSON FOOD PRIDE; 852.82 NICHOLE HEPPNER; 978.42 NORTHWEST RESPIRATORY SERVICES LLC; 617.11 OAKLAND INDEPENDENT; 295.95 PAPER TIGER SHREDDING INC; 40.00 PENNER PATIENT CARE SYSTEMS; 629.44 PLUNKETTS PEST CONTROL INC; 184.86 PRIME TIME HEALTHCARE LLC; 420.00 RAYNE LYNNE MAGILL; 100.00 REX LANDHOLM; 250.00 RING CENTRAL INC; 1,540.50 S & S WORLDWIDE INC; 72.31 SAMS CLUB; 539.08 SCOTTS HARDWARE LLC; 239.58 SEAN HIGGINS; 2,892.00 SETH ANDERSON; 68.00 SHIFTKEY; 1,722.49 SQUARE SERVICES; 30.00 ST FRANCIS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL; 9.59 STERICYCLE INC; 140.04 SYSCO; 35.46 THE HOME DEPOT PRO; 1,518.44 THE HOME DEPOT PRO; 24.54 THRASHER FOUNDATION REPAIR; 82,087.56 TONERPIRATE; 182.01 TRACIE MARTIN MD; 750.00 UNITED STATES TREASURY; 52,828.58 WALMART; 39.87 WASTE CONNECTIONS OF NEBRASKA INC; 394.14 WEST BEND MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY; 2,543.00 WEST POINT NEWS; 425.00 WOLKEN THERAPY & WELLNESS LLC; 22,596.03 WORKPLACEPRO; 453.80 TOTAL WARRANTS AUGUST 2025; 287,193.23 ZNEZ BCI 09-25-25
