The Board of Education of the Lyons-Decatur School District No. 20 met in a special session on Monday, August 31, 2026, in the Media Center. Present were Archer, Bacon, Brehmer, Christiansen, Miller, Myers, Petersen, Troutman, and Vlach. President Christiansen opened the meeting at 7:31p.m. The following motions were made: 1. to approve the consent agenda. 2. to adopt the resolution to approve the base growth percentage of the property tax request authority for the district. Discussion was held on the 2026-2027 Budget and Tax Request. The next board meeting will be held Monday, September 14that 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center; we will start with the budget and tax request hearings.
