The Board of Education of the Lyons-Decatur School District No. 20 met in a Special Budget Hearing on Monday, September 14, 2026, in the media center. Present were Archer, Bacon, Christiansen, Miller, Myers, Petersen, Troutman, and Vlach. Excused Absent was Brehmer. The open meetings act rules are posted on the north wall of the media center. Christiansen opened the duly publicized 2026-2027 budget hearing at 7:30 p.m. The proposed 2026-2027 budget was presented. The hearing was called for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations of taxpayers relating to the 2026-2027 School Budget. No visitors spoke.
