Jean Beth (Reinert) Rinehart, age 58, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022,  in Lincoln. Born at Lincoln General Hospital she was the pride and joy of a young nuclear family. Her formative years were spent in small towns in and around eastern Nebraska where several sets of grandparents and great-grandparents doted on her. Many cousins and neighborhood friends filled her playtime growing up and while academics were not a strength, her personality remained bright and engaging as she attracted people to her. She was at her best when she worked with small animals and young children, especially when she worked at the Sunshine Daycare in Independence, Mo. pacifying troubled babies with ease. A homemaker for much of the last two decades with her husband and two poodles, Ginger and Spice, she succumbed to her many ailments surrounded by family and friends who filled her with love. Jean Beth's pioneer ancestors include Reinert, Davis, Ray, Weeces, Struthers, McPherson, Critchfield, Hancock, Hood and Bowers families many of whom are buried in Craig, Tekamah and Alder Grove cemeteries.

Beth is survived by husband Douglas Rinehart, mother Margaret Ann (Masters) Reinert, and brother John William Reinert. She is preceded in death by father Carroll Ray Reinert.

Visitation with the family was held at Butherus-Maser & Love Funeral Home, 40th and A Streets, Lincoln, Monday, April 25, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. The memorial service followed the next day, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
