Board Reports 11.1. Building, Grounds, and Transportation Committee Report The Building and Grounds Committee has been working on the water main issue that currently exists under the 1969 addition and the 1992 breezeway. The City has expressed concern about the school district's plan to add the 4-classroom addition that is underway. The City proposed a workaround that includes updating their current infrastructure. The City of Tekamah's plan does not fit into the building timeline that our school board has committed to. The committee plans to keep exploring ideas to figure out the main water issue. All the bids have been submitted and contractors have been approved for the classroom addition. Project bids pleasantly came in well below the original projections. The stadium renovations are on schedule, dirt work is complete and the interior work of the field house has begun. 12.
