Village of Craig Board Proceedings May 13, 2021 Village of Craig Board of Trustees met in regular session May 13, 2021 at 7:02 p.m. at the Craig Fire Hall. Advance notice was shown to the public in the newspaper and posted at the Village office and Craig Post Office. A copy of the notice is on file at the Craig Village Office. Board Members present: Chairman, Duane Hinman, Hope Benne, and Jean Meyer. Absent: Mike Uhing, and Melissa Pedersen. Also present, Bart Meyer and community members. Meyer INFORMATIONAL The impromptu meeting between JEO, USDA, Lower Elkhorn Rural Water, City of Oakland, Village of Craig, and Logan East Rural Water was discussed. Stated that Oakland, Craig, and Lower Elkhorn Rural Water are all in the beginning stages of water projects. The meeting was called to see if there was any interest in all of us working together. Staff Hours were also discussed and Village Office is opened after covid shutdown. ITEMS APPROVED A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by J. Meyer and seconded by H. Benne. All present voted AYE. Items included in consent agenda: May 13th agenda, April 8, 2021 minutes, and May 2021 claims. H. Benne made a motion to purchase 15 tons of cold patch from Knife River at $150/ton and pay $100/hr charge for them to deliver totaling approximately $2,500. J. Meyer seconded. All present voted AYE. Meyer moved to consider/look into partnering with Lower Elkhorn Rural Water, Logan East, and Oakland as a water source if it looks as if we could save our residents money on their bill. H. Benne seconded. Treasurer’s Report was presented to the board. J. Meyer moved to accept the Treasurer’s report. H. Benne seconded the motion. All present voted AYE. Meeting adjourned at 7:54 p.m. by a motion from J. Meyer, seconded by H. Benne. All present voted AYE.
