The regular monthly meeting of the Oakland Heights Board of Directors convened in open and public session on December, 20, 2023 in the Oakland Heights Conference Room. Notice of the meeting was made public in advance thereof by posting notice in three places, one of the designated methods for giving advance notice. Minutes of the November 15, 2023 meeting were approved as distributed. Next meeting is planned for January 24, 2024. At 8:30am the meeting was called to order by President, Judy Schernikau. The board would also like to thank Oakland Heights Team Members for their dedication to the residents. The new kitchen hood is ordered and will be scheduled for install in January. The Heights has been given a mid-February deadline to complete the install and be operational. Health insurance renewals resulted in a 9.9% increase in premiums.
