PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE I. Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by Oakland Public Transit at 207 S Engdahl Ave in Oakland, NE on May 21, 2025 at 8:30 am for the purpose of considering a project for which financial assistance is being sought from the Federal Transit Administration, pursuant to the Federal Transit ACT (FTA), generally described as follows: Description of Project: Oakland Public Transit will be discontinuing services from the 5311 Program. Elderly and Disabled: Oakland Public Transit will take into consideration the special needs of the elderly and/or persons with disabilities. General Public: This project is available to the general public. Services are also being met currently by Joy Ride located at 100 W 9th Street in Oakland. II. At the hearing, Oakland Public Transit will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic and environmental aspects of the Project. Interested persons may submit orally or in writing evidence and recommendations with respect to said Project. III.
