ORDINANCE NO. 750 AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE AMENDED BUDGET STATEMENT TO BE TERMED THE AMENDED 2021-2022 APPROPIATION BILL; TO AMEND SUMS FOR NECESSARY REVENUES AND EXPENSES IN FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022; TO PROVIDE FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYONS, NEBRASKA Section 1. That after complying with all procedures required by law, the amended budget presented and set forth in the amended budget statement is hereby approved as the Amended Annual Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022. All sums of money changed and contained in the amended budget statement are hereby appropriated for necessary revenue and expenses of the City of Lyons, Nebraska caused by the refinancing of Wastewater Bond Series 2016 for a total of $424,943 in expenditures and a total of $359,525 in receipts. The Necessary Cash Reserve has been reduced by $65,418 for the remaining revenue portion with no extra property tax revenue requested. A copy of the amended budget shall be forwarded by law to the Auditor of Public Accounts, State Capitol, Lincoln, Nebraska and to the County Clerk of Burt County, Nebraska, for use by the levying authority. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law. Passed and adopted this 3rd day of May, 2022.
