Mildred married Glen Davis Redding July 30, 1938; she and Glen eloped. Her dad chased them all over the county, but by the time he found them, they were already married. Glen was a great guy and a hard worker. They were happily married 44 years, until his death at age 75. To this union were born two sons, Robert Leroy (deceased) and Glen Allen.

Mildred married Auga Svendsen; they shared 10 years together, until his death from a stroke. She went on to marry Doyle Edgington. Together, they bought a home in Lyons, Nebraska and lived there until his death, following a long illness.

Mildred continued to live in Lyons before moving to South Sioux City. There she lived with her son Al and his wife, Kim. She later moved to assisted living at Regency Square. She was very happy there. She had two dogs to take care of and keep her company. After a few years, she moved to the nursing home side when she needed a little more help.

Mildred was a loving wife and mother. She was very active in the Lyons and Decatur United Methodist Churches.

Mildred is survived by her son, Glen Allen and his wife, Kim of Franklin, New Hampshire; grandson, Matthew Allen; granddaughters, Tara, Tami and Trisha; great grandson, Cameron Redding; brother, Sam and his wife Linda; many nieces and nephews.

Mildred lived a long life, just one week short of her 104th birthday.

She was a loving and caring lady. She is now in heaven with her family who went ahead of her – what a happy reunion that was. ‘Til we meet again.
