LYONS CITY COUNCIL MEETING Proceedings June 13 2023 A special meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Lyons was called to order by Mayor Brink at 12:00 P.M., June 13, 2023, at Lyons City Hall. Present were Council members Steinmeyer, Vacha and Carr. Phillips had an excused absence. Also in attendance was City Clerk Anderson. *AMPVF (All Members Present Voted For) *MC (Motion Carried) The meeting was called to order upon motion by Steinmeyer, seconded by Vacha. On roll call: AMPVF. MC. CONSENT AGENDA 1. Dispense with reading of minutes of meeting held June 6, 2023. Motion by Carr, seconded by Steinmeyer to approve the consent agenda. On roll call: AMPVF. MC. REGULAR AGENDA / NEW BUSINESS 1. Motion by Vacha, seconded by Carr to adopt Resolution 2023-8 - Declaring a Water Emergency and Mandatory conservation on Class 1 water uses. On roll call: AMPVF. MC. Mandatory outdoor watering schedule: North side of Main St. on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays between 4:00 AM – 10:00 AM South side of Main St. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays between 4:00 AM – 10:00 AM No Watering on Sunday. 2.Motion by Carr, seconded by Steinmeyer to approve estimate from Wagner Tires in the amount of $6,389.90 for tires and rims on green truck. On roll call: AMPVF. MC. 3.Mayor Brink adjourned the meeting at 12:10.
