January Meeting of the Craig Village Board After being rescheduled twice due to weather, the Craig Village Board met on Wednesday January 24, 2024, at the Craig Fire Hall for their monthly meeting. At 7:00 the meeting was called to order by Chairman Pedersen. Present for roll call were Melissa Pedersen, Elizabeth Smith, Jean Meyer, Mike Uhing with Sassy Nesemeier being absent. Also, present were Susan Skinner and Gary Carson. Pedersen established a quorum. Meyer moved to accept the consent agenda which Smith seconded, unanimous vote. The agenda contained consent agenda of January 24, 2024, December 14, 2023, minutes, and January 2024 Claims. Gary Carson requested a Liquor License for March 16, 2024, for the Fireman's Ball. Meyer moved; Smith seconded to allow. The vote was unanimous. There was discussion about getting a replacement refrigerator for the one recently removed, which the Firemen may do. The need to replace the faucet in the East sink was mentioned. There will be three seats open in the General Election. A motion for an audit waiver was made by Meyer, seconded by Uhing with a unanimous vote. The Treasurer’s Report was read aloud by Skinner with motion for acceptance by Meyer, seconded by Uhing. The vote was unanimous. At 7:25, Smith made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Meyer. The vote was unanimous.
