INVITATION TO BID Sealed Proposals for the construction of “2025 5th Avenue Asphalt Replacement” will be received by the Village of Decatur at 913 S. Broadway St, Decatur, NE 68020 until 11:00 am on the 22th day of August, 2025, and thereafter will be read aloud. The project will be awarded as one agreement and is generally described as follows: Project Description: The project involves full-depth removal and replacement of 6-inch asphaltic concrete pavement of approximately 389 square yards. The site is available for inspection. Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid. All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the Engineer. Copies of the contract documents are on file with the Village of Decatur for examination by bidders. Complete digital project bidding documents are available from the Village at no cost by emailing a request to (decaturclerk@nntc.net). In order to bid the project, the contract documents must be issued directly by the Village of Decatur to the bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion, serve the best interest of the Owner, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
