Uehling Park is the place to be on Sunday, August 31, starting at 7 p.m. The Girl Scouts will host a concession stand featuring hot dogs, sloppy joe, nachos, popcorn, pop, water and homemade pie (including sour cream raisin, apple, cherry, coconut cream, chocolate, pecan). Funds raised will support Scouts extended travel. Leader Terri Hoeneman encourages you all to come on down. We will stay open until about 10 or food is gone.
Other food available in the west shelter will be kettle corn and snow cones.
Also, there will be kiddie train rides and slip n slide fun from 7-9. Both are free.
Of course, the finale is Fireworks at dusk by Midlands Pyrotechnic Association sponsored by Uehling Firemen and many kind donations received. The Fireworks were postponed from Uehling’s Summer Solstice event last June.
Bring your lawn chairs and join us at the Uehling Park on August 31.
