“Mrs. Miller and I are excited to present our first live Jr./Sr. High Concert in 15 months,” Oakland-Craig Band Director Bryan Bohn said. ”There is nothing like performing for a live audience and that's something we've taken for granted."
Bohn and Mrs. Cindy Miller, vocal music, have done what they could to give the students a chance to share their talents and hard work by offering video performances due to COVID-19 restrictions. Parents as well are welcoming the in-person experience to see their children perform.
The annual Pops Concert is always exciting as the students not only get to share what they have been working on as a group, individuals are able to share personal selections both vocally and with their instruments.
The concert will be held on Tues., March 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the elementary gym. Performances will include the Junior High and Senior High Choirs, High School Choir Small Ensembles, Junior High and Senior High Bands, Jazz Knights, and solos.
